At a young age, Brecht began documenting Southern California culture until a move to New York, and his attendance at Parsons/The New School, encouraged artistic exploration. The scope of his work broadened and evolved into an energetic and colorful form. Through both stills and motion, his work displays a level of intimacy and sensitivity.

Brecht has worked with ad agencies from idea conception through execution and has built a client base including brands such as Rosewood Hotels, SoHo House, Condé Naste, Toyota, Hilton Hotels, Frank & Eileen, True Religion, Behr Paint, and Sleep Number.

Van't Hof is self-represented and takes clients on a limited basis.
